Family Studies 10 - 12
They say we don’t come with owners’ manuals for life after high school; however, this course can help. Family Studies 10 - 12 provides students with knowledge and skills that will assist them in making informed decisions related to adolescence; adulthood; families in society; child development and parenting; interpersonal and family relationships; and housing and living environments. These six individual modular courses comprise Family Studies 10 to 12 and are worth two credits each. Two modules will be combined (based on interest) to make 4 credits. There are no prerequisites and students may take the modules in Grade 10, 11 or 12.
